Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Training Specialist to develop and deliver comprehensive workforce training programs for the U.S. Air Force. This role focuses on creating modular, scalable curricula and implementing innovative training solutions that enhance performance and adoption of new technologies.
Location: El Segundo, CA
Key Responsibilities
• Develop a Workforce Training Plan aligned to performance metrics, including learning objectives by audience, content development timelines, and delivery dates
• Design modular, sequential training curricula updated in accordance with PI planning; ensure repeatability, scalability, and integration of digital learning experiences supplemented by in-person workshops
• Implement training curricula using multimedia delivery mechanisms such as video, interactive learning products, online and in-person sessions, and traditional Microsoft tools accessible via mobile devices
• Evaluate training effectiveness to measure impact on delivery speed, quality output, capability exploration, and reduction of rework
• Establish KPIs within training curricula to measure adoption of knowledge and skills and their application to job effectiveness
• Conduct ongoing learning assessments using surveys, evaluations, and confidence checks at key points in each module
• Deliver course-specific tests, assessments, and evaluation surveys to identify areas for improvement and gauge content effectiveness
• Scale training programs to meet organizational needs; automate and transition delivery for accessibility and content evolution
• Provide video and graphics support for marketing and promoting training initiatives
Technical Skills
• Familiarity with government-approved software applications such as Google, Palantir, Apple, Oracle
• Experience with Knowledge Management Sites, SharePoint, and Learning Management Systems
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, or related field
• Experience developing and implementing training programs in government or defense environments
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and digital learning technologies
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on tight timelines
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for workshops and team training sessions
Compensation:
- $110,000 – $125,000 (Based on years of relevant experience)
