Your Role on the Team Position Summary: The Sr Transformation Specialist applies extensive knowledge of quality data analysis and improvement (QI) concepts, methodologies, and data collection and abstraction techniques to substantial projects of large scope and high degrees of complexity. The Sr. Transformation Specialist manages system-wide performance improvement initiatives to improve clinical processes, quality outcomes, and patient and staff safety. The Specialist supports UCI Heath by functioning as a performance improvement leader, facilitator, consultant, and analyst. The Specialist facilitates the assessment of problems, the compilation and analysis of data, the development of improvement teams, the design and collections of metrics, and the facilitation of improvement efforts. The Specialist uses process improvement methodologies to not only support performance improvement but also to implement practices to sustain performance. The Specialist supports the mission and vision of UCI Health throughout the organization and ambulatory areas as needed. The Specialist develops subject matter experts within key high priority clinical areas for partnership and support. The Sr. Transformation Specialist independently spearheads improvement efforts and regularly works on highly complex issues that requires an in-depth evaluation of process inputs, outputs, and organizational factors. The Specialist supports continued execution and development of performance improvement activities, including development of standard work, daily critical-to-quality metrics, visual management, rounding schedules, and huddle approaches to improve clinical processes and outcomes.
