Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday through Friday
Incredible opportunity now available for an experienced Surgery Scheduler at this world-renowned Medical organization. In this role, you will assist your department with the following duties:
-Process referrals
-Schedule procedures as well as pre and post-op appointments
-Ensure prior authorizations are in place
-Collect all necessary signatures and paperwork
-Coordinate pre-operative testing, labs, imaging, etc
-Deliver pre-surgical prep instructions to patients
-Other tasks as needed
Requirements:
-2+ years of prior procedure scheduling experience
-Experience with an EMR system required-Epic preferred
-2+ years of insurance authorization experience required
