This Surgery Scheduler Position Features:

Immediate need for an experienced Surgery Scheduler at this world-renowned healthcare organization. In this position, you will support a team of 2-3 surgeons with the following duties:
-Schedule surgeries, pre and post-op appointments
-Submit prior authorizations
-Coordinate pre-op labs, EKGs, testing and imaging as needed
-Collect necessary medical records from referring physicians and general providers
-Collect surgery packet signatures
-Call patients prior to surgery with their surgery day instructions
REQUIREMENTS:
-At least 2 recent years of experience supporting 2 or more surgeons with their scheduling needs
-2 or more years of experience submitting prior/authorizations
-EMR experience required (EPIC ideal)
