Salary & Compensation *UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. Qualifications Quantitative skills, familiarity with R (Preferred) Familiarity with experimental research (Required) Familiarity with the forms and submission procedures to obtain research approvals from the Institutional Review Board and Office for the Protection of Research Subjects. (Preferred) Excellent skills in oral and written English communication. (Required) Ability and willingness to work with competing deadlines, meet fixed deadlines, manage multiple assignments, and follow through tasks to completion. (Required) Excellent grades in quantitative coursework (e.g. computer science, math). (Preferred) Ability to work independently (Required) Prior research assistant experience (Preferred) Background in designing and running field and laboratory experiments (Preferred) Ability to help prepare research protocols and manuscripts for publication (Preferred) Strong project management skills (Required) Strong interest in the relevant research topics (Required) Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Required) Special Conditions for Employment Background Check: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation.
