The Position Proposition:
ARB Underground currently has positions available for contracted Tradesman work for Southern California Gas Distribution Riser Integrity Program. We are seeking responsible and dependable individuals who can work independently. Positions are available in the following areas: Alhambra, CA; Aliso Viejo, CA; Azusa, CA; Santa Ana, CA; San Bernardino, CA; and Whittier CA.
- Communicate with homeowners, management team, and customers.
- Abilities to perform inspections and checklist on the work area (once trained).
- Perform inspections and checklists on the work area.
- Must be able to enter information into a company-issued tablet.
- Company vehicle, tablet, and phone will be provided.
Educational & Minimum Requirements:
- General construction experience a plus but not required.
- Must be a self-starter with time management skills to help ensure daily production requirements are met.
- Must complete a 2-week training provided by the company. (Tradesman Position for SCG Drip Program.)
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills to communicate with homeowners, management team, and customers effectively.
- Ability to maintain and protect confidential information.
- Must have computer and tablet skills.
- Must have a valid California Driver’s License with a clean record.
- Part of DOT required work (requires pre-employment drug test).
- ARB is a drug-free environment, and t his position requires compliance with the company and Federal Department of Transportation (FMSCA or PHMSA) drug testing policies and procedures for both pre-employment and continuing random.
- Bilingual Spanish skills desired, but not required.
