The Manager of Field Training is responsible for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Red Bull North America’s (RBNA) On-Premise Field Sales department. This position entails implementing comprehensive training programs designed to develop the skills, knowledge, and capabilities required to achieve RBNA’s On-Premise business objectives. Additionally, the Manager of Field Training will oversee projects and processes that support the professional growth of Field Sales team members throughout their development journey, from onboarding to achieving expertise.

Core responsibilities include, among other tasks, executing the On-Premise Training Strategy and delivering the curriculum, developing and maintaining onboarding tools, programs, and resources for new employees, as well as undertaking ad-hoc employee development projects to support the Senior Manager of Field Training.

  • ON PREMISE TRAINING PLAN & IMPLEMENTATION

    Facilitate ongoing “Art of Musketeering” (AOM) classroom training sessions for the Field Sales department and other On-Premise roles.

    Identify and develop essential training needs across the full spectrum of Field Sales teams, including Aviators, Musketeers, Musketeer Scouts, LOPM, ROPM, FKAM, and DOM.

    Continuously evaluate the alignment of the current training portfolio with strategic priorities, making adjustments and enhancements as necessary.

    Collaborate closely with the Talent Development team (RBNA) and Global Talent team to ensure alignment of the training curriculum with Red Bull’s core philosophies: Meaning, Freedom and Responsibility, and Mastery.

    Conduct quarterly market visits to assess the application of trainings and tools, providing ongoing guidance to enhance field usage and drive results.

    Deliver detailed summaries of market visits and classroom training sessions to both attendees and managers, focusing on improving capabilities and leveraging strengths.

    Support the Aviator program’s follow-up and conversion process by partnering with the Senior Manager of Field Training and Emerging Talent to recruit, develop, and retain Aviators in the respective regions.

  • ONBOARDING PROGRAMS

    Collaborate closely with RBNA Talent Development to design and implement high-quality onboarding programs reflective of the On Premise voice.

    Regularly review the portfolio of onboarding materials and make updates when necessary.

    Assist local teams with their onboarding initiatives, including participating in in-person sessions as required.

  • PLANNING & MEASUREMENT

    Manage the on-premises training budget for specific academies and training programs.

    Collaborate with RBNA Talent to develop and implement evaluation metrics to measure the effectiveness of training efforts.

    Oversee the execution of the RBNA annual on-premises calendar and delivery timeline, aligning it with key organizational milestones such as onboarding new hires, ongoing and progressive training sessions, annual meetings, and critical market events.

  • STRATEGY INTO FIELD

    Develop and maintain essential processes and routines for the field teams to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency, while consistently monitoring their implementation in the field.

    Collaborate closely with the Director of Field Sales to gain insights into field strategy and integrate them into training programs.

EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • 5+ years of experience in the On-Premise industry is required.
  • 2+ years of management experience is mandatory.
  • 3-4 years of sales training experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in developing training programs that drive overachievement of goals and outperform competition.
  • Proven ability to design and execute programming within On-Premise outlets that promotes repeat purchases.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the On-Premise National Account landscape.
  • Advanced communication and active listening skills, with expertise in facilitation and public speaking.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and cultures, including across international borders.
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • Fluent in English, additional language skills is a plus
