Job Title: Translation & Localization Technology Specialist
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled professional with hands-on experience in translation and localization tools such as Wordfast, Trados Studio, SDLX, TMS, or WorldServer. The ideal candidate will lead the technical aspects of translation and localization operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day technical support for translation and localization applications and tools.
Develop and maintain custom workflows, filters, and scripts to optimize processes.
Support production validation and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues promptly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Model Risk, and Product Owners.
Manage integration, migration, and enhancement activities for localization systems.
Support business continuity planning and records management.
Drive efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in translation workflows.
Manage access requests and certifications for line-of-business-owned applications.
Conduct research and analysis on business and operational initiatives.
Lead and support risk mitigation, process improvement, and customer experience initiatives.
Participate in special and ad hoc projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, or business operations.
4+ years of experience in the translation/localization industry.
Hands-on experience with translation management systems (e.g., SDL TMS, WorldServer).
Proficiency in translation and terminology tools (e.g., Trados Studio, SDLX, MultiTerm).
Familiarity with computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools and terminology management.
Experience using online linguistic resources (dictionaries, glossaries, etc.).
Note: Translation localization technology experience is required. Candidates proficient in tools such as Wordfast, Trados Studio, SDLX, TMS, or WorldServer will be prioritized.

Strong presentation and project management capabilities.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Professional and diplomatic approach to collaboration and feedback.
Ability to understand broader business objectives and identify process improvement opportunities.
Experience working with both internal teams and external vendors.
Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments.
Detail-oriented with adaptability and a continuous learning mindset.
Experience with Adobe Acrobat and other content management tools.
Familiarity with complex, matrixed organizational structures.
