UCLA Music 2024-25 Part-Time Lecturer in Brass Pedagogy University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF10106 The UCLA Music Department invites applications for a part-time lecturer position of brass pedagogy for the Music Education Program for Spring quarter of the 2024-25 academic year. This position will serve as an instructor of a core requirement for students in the Music Education program. Salary commensurate with applicant qualifications and experience. Responsibilities will include teaching trumpet, trombone, French horn, euphonium and tuba as secondary instruments to music education majors and providing them with the pedagogical skills necessary to teach brass instruments to elementary, middle and high school students in classroom and ensemble settings. Applicants should have an established reputation as a performer and teacher with expertise in the skills necessary to nurture future music educators. A post-baccalaureate degree is preferred.
