About Us

The Kitchen Supervisor has a passion for culinary excellence and ensures smooth and efficient daily kitchen activities while managing staff and maintaining culinary supplies. Safety and compliance are key, as is ensuring top-notch sanitation and cleanliness. Effective communication and leadership skills are necessary to maintain a service-oriented environment. 

KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervisory Skills: Oversee day-to-day kitchen activities, ensuring all associates fulfull their job functions appropriately. 
  • Culinary Knowledge: Support food and beverage service operations and maintain culinary supplies
  • Cost and Quality Control: Analyze costs, breakage, and quality support for various kitchen 
    areas. 
  • Safety and Compliance: Educate associates on safety issues and ensure compliance with 
    health and safety regulations. 
  • Communication and Leadership: Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a 
    friendly, service-oriented manner and maintain open communication with other departments. 
  • Sanitation and Cleanliness: Ensure the highest levels of sanitation and cleanliness in all 
    facilities and equipment. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of experience in kitchen operations or a similar field, including a minimum of 1 year of  supervisory experience. 
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service operations is preferred. 
  • Complies with certification requirements as applicable for position to include: Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR and First Aid 
  • Ability to acquire Food Manager Certification as required by applicable state regulations.
