Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with tenants and management, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, employees, and visitors at a commercial property by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, common areas, loading and service areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, assist with visitor management as directed by site policy, and help to maintain orderly foot and vehicle traffic through the property.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting suspicious activity, supporting evacuations as directed, and assisting arriving first responders when requested.
  • Complete detailed shift documentation, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate timely updates to property management and Allied Universal leadership per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
