As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned public areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to questions, provide directions and assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with team members and local contacts. What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public-facing areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or policy concerns.
Monitor access points and public spaces, observe for suspicious or disruptive behavior, and report concerns according to post orders and local requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site representatives and public first responders as directed.
Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate timely updates to supervision and client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Be able to ride a bike.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Be able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
