Job Summary Responsible for managing complex projects through entire project lifecycle (inception, design, development, integration and test, trial and deployment). Initiate, facilitate and monitor specific inter/intra-departmental project progress and performance to assure quality and on time delivery. Ensure milestone dates are met. Manage regular ceremonies to standardize workflow for both product and development teams, to ensure milestone dates are tracked and met. Monitor risks during various stages of the project and escalate issues to the appropriate level of management. Maintain project status reports on projects. Evaluate impact change request against communicated timelines. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. Applicants must be authorized to work for Comcast in the United States without a current or potential future need for sponsorship Core Responsibilities Responsible for the planning and facilitation of standard meetings to include; backlog preparation, iteration planning, retrospectives, iteration reviews and daily stand-ups. Manages project status and information in the form of formal briefings, project update meetings and written, electronic and graphic reports. Communicate updates on major milestones, escalations and status to lead engineer and lead project manager. Engages with any needed business entity to help remove obstacles to his or her teams being able to deliver on stated goals and helps to negotiate working agreements. Make project scheduling decisions in conjunction with the lead engineer or facilitate conversations necessary for decision making. Engages and assists the product owner to ensure that work requests are properly articulated, prioritized and detailed. Works to identify blocked or stalled stories and assists the team in learning to resolve the issues or assists getting resolution. Coordinate change request generation and tracking. Develops, maintains and manages detailed project plans, action item registers and major milestone timelines for all assigned projects. Provides overall prioritization and director of work assignments, team resources etc. Monitor and creates project deliverables. Addresses problems through risk management and contingency planning and presents solutions and/or options to executive management. Ensures effective implementation of solutions/changes. Relevant Work Experience 7-10 Years Salary: Primary Location Pay Range: $114,915.56 – $172,373.34 Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
