Join a defense & aerospace team that has some of the world’s best new technology as an Electromechanical Technician in Cerritos, CA.This position will be part of an exciting team that is designing new and existing products and their respective components, testing equipment and tooling. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of experience in manufacturing/industrial. This company is growing and is in acquisition mode, adding organizations to strengthen and expand their capabilities.

responsibilities:
- Mechanical assembly and test of motor/generation components and subassemblies
- Assembly requires knowledge and use of metrology tools including height guages, calipers, micrometers and ability to calculate stack-up tolerances
- Perform electrical checks including resistance, inductance, hi-pot using appropriate meters
- Perform functional tests of motors and capturing pertinent information and recording information in build worksheets
Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial/manufacturing experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Ability to produce assemblies following routers, work instructions, and blueprints
