Day Time Thur 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM Fri 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM Sat 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM Sun 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM
What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, waiting areas, and/or other assigned posts, assisting with access control, visitor direction, and general support for daily site operations.
• Communicate with hospital personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding security-related concerns, behavioral issues, and medical emergency support needs as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
