Job Description Summary:

The Sr Asset Based Lending Business Development Officer sources and originates new asset-based clients. Develop relationships (Both internally and externally) that yield new clients in the future.

Pay Range: $140,622 – $209,526 – $278,431

Job Description:

Searches for and locates new ABL opportunities from external sources (direct, intermediary, equity sponsors).

Searches and locates new ABL opportunities from internal sources within the Bank (Group Directors, Equipment finance, Sponsor Finance and Specialty Lending).

Processes and leads new business through internal credit approval process and documentation.

Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings.  Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in business, economics, or some other related field. Required

Minimum experience required: 8+ Years of ABL experience as an Analyst, Portfolio Manager, Underwriter or Business Development Officer. Required

Experience with Asset Based Lending policies and procedures. Required

Demonstrated ability to identify and structure ABL new business.

Self-starter and disciplined in approach to job duties and responsibilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as; Outlook, Word, and Excel

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to travel to meet new business prospects and events.

Physical demands (ADA): The job requires a moderate degree of physical exertion and stamina such as standing, sitting, walking, driving or infrequent lifting.
