Ambulatory Care Patient Supv 2 – ACC Infusion Center – FT Days Updated: Jan 26, 2024 Location: Irvine Job Type: Department: ACC – Infusion Center Job Description: UC Title: AMBUL CARE ADMSTN SUPV 1 Position Number: 41060356 Reports to: Ambulatory Care Patient Mgr 1 Working Title: Ambulatory Care Patient Supv 2 Cost Center: ACC – Infusion Center (427295) Bargaining Unit: No Bargaining Unit FLSA: Exempt Date Created: 1/24/2024 Job Code: 004172 Hours: 40 Shift: Not Applicable FTE: 1 Position Summary: Incumbent is responsible for managing the daily delivery of patient care, as well as the quality of nursing practice and the standards of care in the Infusion Center. Ensures continuity and congruity of services through coordination of the overall patient care, supervision and direction of nurse staff, and the facilitation of responses to physician requests and services. Serves as a role model and clinical resource to colleagues, staff, and patients. Additionally, incumbent reviews data and devises effective control mechanisms to ensure the environment fosters safe patient care. Salary Range: Annual Rate Minimum $66,700.00 Midpoint $92,600.00 Maximum $118,500.00 Required Qualifications: Minimum 3 years experience as a nurse Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and motivate staff through prior lead or supervisory experience Demonstrated experience in a leadership role Understanding of Joint Commission and other applicable regulatory requirements Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Previous experience working with cancer programs Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Strong customer service orientation as well as written and oral communication skills Complete understanding of acuity levels for the patient population Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Current California RN license Chemotherapy Certification Chemotherapy administration experience Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support(Required) Preferred Qualifications: ANCC recognized RN certification uniquely applicable to this specific unit, (general certifications, such as WCC, will not be acceptable for meeting this requirement).
