The Division of Pulmonary Medicine in the Department of Medicine is seeking an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of clinical research studies and trials. Working closely with Clinical Research Coordinators and Senior Clinical Research Coordinators, the incumbent will assist with study coordination, participant activities, data and regulatory documentation, and other research-related functions to help ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful clinical research while developing experience in a collaborative academic research environment.

Hourly range: $29.28-$47.10

Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks with thoroughness and accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills to effectively establish rapport, and build relationships.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Skills sufficient to solve problems and identify solutions
  • Ability to adapt to changing job demands and priorities; work flexible hours to accommodate research deadlines.
  • Ability to respond to situations in an appropriate and professional manner.
  • Ability to concentrate and focus in a work environment that contains distracting stimuli and competing deadlines.
  • Ability to be flexible in handling work delegated by more than one individual.
  • Typing and computer skill/ability including word-processing, use of spreadsheets, email, data entry.
  • Ability to navigate numerous software programs and applications.
  • Ability to handle confidential material information with judgement and discretion.
  • Skill in coordinating information transfer among multiple constituents.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a Health Care Setting
