Caruso Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery University of Southern California Los Angeles, California The University of Southern California (USC), founded in 1880, is the largest private employer in the City of Los Angeles. The USC Caruso Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery seeks up to two board-eligible or board-certified Otolaryngologists to join the department. An important criterion is an interest in seeing patients with any general ENT condition while building a specialty practice. Clinical duties will involve seeing patients in satellite clinics with surgery performed at the Keck Medical Center or other USC-affiliated hospital. As a top academic medical center, we are particularly interested in recruiting faculty with research interests. Therefore, our department prioritizes mentoring and teamwork as ways to help faculty develop within a friendly, non-judgmental, and inquisitive environment. All faculty are expected to pursue scholarly activities that advance patient health. Overall, we search for faculty members whose career goals include excellence in patient care, research, and clinical teaching. Faculty rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The annual base salary range for this position is $250,000-$330,000.
