Chief, Pediatrics Adolescent Medicine – Health Sciences Series University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF10921 The Department of Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital seeks a creative and dynamic leader to serve as the Chief of the Division of Adolescent of Young Adult Medicine, a position offered within the Health Sciences clinical Series. This full-time faculty role, at the rank of Associate or Full Professor, requires a visionary individual with excellent leadership, research, and communication skills to expand the division’s research, educational, and clinical activities. The successful candidate will provide strategic oversight for a division that houses premier clinical initiatives, including the Medical Stabilization Program for Disordered Eating at UCLA Santa Monica Hospital, the Nourish for Life Outpatient Program, a partnership with comprehensive Gender-Affirming Care services housed in the med peds program, and the newly established Pediatric Gynecology program housed in OBGYN. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring faculty toward research independence and developing innovative clinical policies to advance the health of adolescents and young adults. Applicants must possess an M.D. or equivalent and be board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics with subspecialty certification in Adolescent Medicine. A strong background in scholarships and a proven commitment to mentoring trainees are essential. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
