The Department of Neurology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC seeks a full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in the Neuro-Critical Care ICU at Keck Hospital of USC. Candidates must have a current California nurse practitioner license and adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner board certification, or California license for physician assistant and national commission on certification of physician assistant (NCCPA). The candidate will be responsible for providing care to inpatients in the neuroscience intensive care unit at Keck Hospital of USC. This is a busy inpatient service that cares for acutely ill patients with a variety of acute neurologic and neurosurgical conditions. Experience in neurological intensive care is highly desirable.  The position offers a competitive salary with excellent university benefits, and an academic appointment as Clinical Instructor of Neurology (Practitioner) at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Neurology and Neurosurgery faculty members are dedicated to training fellows, residents, and medical students. Strength of character, strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills are required.  The annual base salary range for this position is $157,620 ?? $192,134.
