Takes a leading role in development, quality control, and quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Participates in teaching and serves as a technical resource for the division. Salary Range: Hourly Rate Minimum $57.09 Midpoint $66.20 Maximum $75.30 Required Qualifications: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Must be willing to testify in court regarding testing activities if subpoenaed Must be willing to work variable shifts and overtime as required Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Two or more years applicable experience Current CA CLS License Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms Licenses and Certifications: Clinical Laboratory Scientist(Required) Conditions of Employment: The University of California, Irvine (UCI) seeks to provide a safe and healthy environment for the entire UCI community.
