Summary of Essential Duties:?? As a Cardiac Sonographer Level II, you will be responsible for performing Echocardiogram or TTE exams, with Color, Spectral Doppler and 2-D imaging in the inpatient setting throughout the Medical Center and procedural areas, recovery rooms and Emergency Department.?? We are seeking an experienced Sonographer who can demonstrate proficiency in the performance of all procedures and competency in the use of all related ultrasound equipment and computers.?? Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED required Graduate of a 2-year diagnostic medical sonography program accredited by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required Licenses/Certifications: Current ARDMS/CCI certification required Applicants with no certification may be considered as an Echo Sonographer I if willing to obtain RDCS or RCS within one year from start date Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a full-time sonographer required Applicants with less than 3 years of experience may be considered as an Echo Sonographer I About Us Cedars-Sinai is a leader in providing high-quality healthcare encompassing primary care, specialized medicine and research.
