Fulltime German Lecturer University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF09310 The Department of European Languages and Transcultural Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles invites applications for a full-time lecturer position in German for the 2024-2025 academic year, with the possibility of renewal. We are looking for a candidate with a proven record of excellence in teaching. Responsibilities include teaching a combination of lower- and upper-division courses in German language and culture. The ideal candidate must be able to teach in the classroom and online. The minimum requirement is a Ph.D. degree in German or a related field with near-native fluency. Candidates should provide a letter of application, a CV (including courses previously taught at each level), a self-reflexive teaching statement, an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) statement, and the names of three potential referees.
