Zachary Piper Solutions is actively searching for a Ground System Engineer to support the US Space Force through the Geosynchronous Space Situational Awareness Program (GSSAP) within the Space Systems Command Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power Directorate’s system program office in El Segundo, CA.
***Active Top-Secret w/SCI is required to be eligible for this role***
Duties of the Ground System Engineer Include:
· Support systems architecting and engineering activities such as system requirements definition, design, and interface management.
· Manage ground segment technical and interface requirements. Manage interface negotiation with external stakeholders.
· Support the development of system engineering items such as CONOPs, requirements definitions, system testing, algorithm document review, and interfaces to other application development efforts
Qualifications of the Ground Systems Engineer Include:
· Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 3+ years of experience.
· Familiarity with ground-based systems
· Current In-Scope TS/SCI and enrolled in CE.
Salary and Benefits for the Ground Systems Engineer Include:
Salary: $120,000 – $150,000/yr ***depending on experience***
