Hospital Assistant I – Patient Lift & Transport – FT/Day Updated: Apr 22, 2024 Location: Orange Job Type: Department: Patient Lift & Transport UC Title: HOSP BLANK AST 1 Position Number: 40823330 Reports to: Pat Transport Supv 1 Working Title: Hospital Assistant I Cost Center: Patient Lift & Transport (428370) Bargaining Unit: AFSCME FLSA: Nonexempt Date Created: 7/28/2023 Job Code: 009253 Hours: 36 Shift: Full-Time/Days FTE: 0.9 Position Summary: Reporting to the Lift Team Supervisor, will assist direct patient care providers with safe patient handling by using a variety of lift techniques and equipment. Promotes an environment of safe patient handling which provides for the safety of our patients while maintaining a safe work environment for the patient care providers. Provides direct patient care as well as education and training in the use of lift and transfer equipment for the health care providers.
