Role summary: The (USA) Journeyman Electrician, Facility Services, is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment. This role involves diagnosing electrical issues, conducting inspections, and executing repairs using multiple craft skills while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The position requires managing maintenance schedules, coordinating with contractors, and responding promptly to emergency calls. The Journeyman Electrician supports continuous improvement efforts and collaborates with management and team members to maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment. About the team: This team provides expert electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services to support facility operations. Members adhere to safety standards and industry best practices while maintaining clear communication with clients and contractors. - Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, facilities, and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Inspect, diagnose, and document issues using blueprints, manuals, and tools to determine repair or replacement needs.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate with contractors to ensure quality and compliance with regulations.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and parts procurement while maintaining accurate records and warranty claims.
- Operate and inspect powered equipment safely, adhering to OSHA and company safety standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support critical facility needs outside regular hours.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and related facility equipment.
- Ability to diagnose issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Skilled in operating hand and power tools, hoists, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a safe work environment.
- Strong documentation skills for maintenance activities, work orders, and expense tracking.
- Capability to respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with management and contractors.

The hourly wage range for this position is $40.00 – $76.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

2 years’ experience in the electrical trade. Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent in state of work. Valid state-issued driver’s license. License in related trade in city and/or state of work
