Job Summary Assist with NIH-funded research grants to study various aspects of centriole/centrosome duplication and function in relation to inherited disease and cancer cell biology. Essential Job Duties Carry out molecular experiments to build and express recombinant DNAs and study their functions in eukaryotic cells. Maintain stocks of Drosophila melanogaster. Maintain tissue culture systems. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and some experience working with recombinant DNA. Preferred Qualifications Some experience working with proteins and blotting approaches is desirable but not essential. Some experience of tissue culture is desirable but not essential.
