Ensures an effective patient care delivery system that is compliant and consistent with standards of practice. Implements strategies, processes, and standards to ensure operations support the key organizational and departmental initiatives such as quality of care, patient safety, and patient satisfaction. Promotes collegial relationships between the unit and other departments or disciplines across the Medical Center. Salary Range: Annual Rate Minimum $138,800.00 Midpoint $208,300.00 Maximum $277,800.00 Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science, Nursing Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Prior management experience in an acute care setting Knowledge of Title 22 and Joint Commission Requirements Minimum of one year of recent Nurse Manager experience in an ICU Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support(Required) Registered Nurse(Required) Preferred Qualifications: MASTER OF SCIENCE IN NURSING Conditions of Employment: The University of California, Irvine (UCI) seeks to provide a safe and healthy environment for the entire UCI community.
