Description
The Supply Planner is responsible for maintaining established inventory targets across all distribution facilities in the United States to ensure the highest possible level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating replenishment orders, communicating changes to demand and supply plans, and providing excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will have exposure to inventory and capacity planning, logistics, forecasting, warehouse management systems (WMS), finance, and electronic data interchange (EDI), and will work closely with peers across Red Bull North America.

- SUPPLY MANAGEMENT
Manage SKU/DC inventory levels within established targets to prevent stock-outs and overstock situations, especially during product transitions (e.g., promotional packaging, new item launches, and product phase-outs).
Enter replenishment orders for the customer in SAP accurately and on time.
Manage the stock transfer process between the customer’s ship-to locations.
Continuously monitor and adjust minimum and maximum inventory levels to meet days-on-hand targets.
Coordinate with Supply Planning colleagues on inbound shipments to the 3PL provider and support the RBNA inventory deployment strategy.
Partner with the Demand Planning and Supply Planning teams to effectively manage product transitions, including end-of-life items and new product introductions for VMI customers.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- CUSTOMER SERVICE
Communicate with customers about product inventory levels and seasonal fluctuations to prevent stockouts and reduce the risk of products expiring.
Conduct customer reviews to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
Prepare weekly and monthly customer reports (e.g., inventory levels, purchase order reports).
- Logistics / Transportation Planning
Create replenishment orders in full truckload quantities to minimize transportation costs and optimize truck utilization.
Improve efficiency in case picking and cross-docking operations.
Manage inventory deployment to achieve an optimal balance between supply chain performance and logistics targets.
Support project teams in increasing the volume of port-direct shipments.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Analytics Leadership: Over seven years of progressive experience in supply chain analytics, business intelligence, or operations research, including at least three years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Supply Chain Expertise: Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including demand planning, supply planning, order management, logistics, and inventory management.
- Advanced Analytics: Proven ability to design KPIs, build predictive models, perform statistical analysis, and translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- People Leadership: Demonstrated success in managing, developing, and motivating analytical teams; experience conducting performance reviews and driving team engagement.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and Excel. Experience with Python, R, or similar analytical programming languages is preferred. Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Process Improvement: Experience leading data-driven process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Business Partnering: Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional leaders, translate business requirements into analytical solutions, and influence decision-making through data storytelling.
- Change Management: Experience leading teams through transformation initiatives, system implementations, and organizational change.

- High level of professional interpersonal skills, with strong analytical, conceptual, and communication abilities (both oral and written).
- Self-motivated team player who can drive issue resolution with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SAP ERP and APO SNP; familiarity with EDI is an advantage.
- Advanced user of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; an undergraduate focus in statistical analysis or engineering is preferred.
