In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care for our burn patients in our Outpatient Burn Center and Burn ICU. This position reports to the Charge Nurse, and is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process. You will offer guidance to team members by supervising nursing interventions and assigning related tasks. You will also assess patient, family and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education and promote effective working relationships. This involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan, including providing detailed care instructions.

Salary range: $96.74/hourly 

Qualifications

Required:

Current, valid CA RN License

BSN or MSN

BLS from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association 

ACLS certification
from the American Heart Association, or obtained within 6 months of hire

PALS certification from the American Heart Association, or obtained within 6 months of hire

ABLS certification from the American Heart Association, or obtained within 6 months of hire

2 years of acute RN experience

Ability to complete a Nursing physical assessment

Highly desired:

RN experience in Burn
