Per Diem Patient Escort Float- Periop Float Pool- Day Shift Updated: Mar 28, 2024 Location: Irvine Job Type: Department: Periop Float Pool UC Title: PAT ESCORT PD Position Number: 41056318 Reports to: Nurse Services Manager 1 Working Title: PD Patient Escort Float Cost Center: Periop Float Pool (427030) Bargaining Unit: AFSCME FLSA: Nonexempt Date Created: 1/16/2024 Job Code: 008903 Hours: 4 Shift: Not Applicable FTE: 0.1 Position Summary: The Equipment Pool Assistant is responsible to receive requests for patient care equipment and supplies and to deliver them to and from designated areas. Will use systems to track hospital and rental equipment for daily inventory, cleaning, and set-up. Will also perform basic repairs of equipment. A primary focus is on customer service and meeting customer requests and expectations. Required to float between the Orange and Irvine locations as needed. Salary Range: Hourly Rate Minimum $21.93 Midpoint $21.93 Maximum $21.93 Required Qualifications: Skill to perform basic mathematical computations, and to use general office equipment including computers, copiers, and calculators Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a constantly changing environment, with the ability to work overtime and dictated by patient care demands Demonstrated knowledge and practice of infection control techniques Required to float between the Orange and Irvine locations as needed.
