PGY2 Spec Post PharmD Trainee – Inpatient Pharmacy – FT/Variable Updated: Mar 11, 2024 Location: Orange Job Type: Department: Pharmacy Administration UC Title: PGY2 SPEC POST PHARMD TRAINEE Position Number: 40906129 Reports to: Infectious Disease Pharm Supv Working Title: PGY2 Spec Post PharmD Trainee Cost Center: Pharmacy Administration (428764) Bargaining Unit: No Bargaining Unit FLSA: Exempt Date Created: 2/27/2024 Job Code: 004236 Hours: 40 Shift: Full-Time/Variable FTE: 1 Position Summary: Under the direction of the Infectious Diseases Pharmacist Specialist, the incumbent rotates through the different areas of the Pharmacy learning: pharmaceutical patient care, administrative functions, drug dispensing and staff coverage with the focus on the care of patients with infectious diseases. The incumbent actively participates as an integral member of interdisciplinary teams caring for patients with infectious diseases, assumes responsibility for their pharmaceutical care and serves as the ultimate resource for information about anti-infectives and for decision making affecting the care of these patients. The incumbent actively participates in antimicrobial stewardship efforts as prioritized by the Infectious Diseases Pharmacist Specialist. The residency starts and ends in July.
