DESCRIPTION
Michael Baker International is seeking a Project Controls Intern to support our Santa Ana office.
This position will provide support and assistance with requests in support of the business strategy and will include but is not limited to the following:
- Assist with tasks that may include filing, scanning, data entry, documentation, Power Point presentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data.
- Present solutions to concerns.
- Assist with the preparation of project status reports and presentations, including designing graphs, charts, and other visual aids.
- Familiarity with finance principals and systems preferred.
- Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions to problems.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word,PowerPoint and Outlook
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills highly preferred.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Construction Management preferred.
- Minimum GPA 3.0 preferred.
- Involvement on campus or in the community preferred.
- Prior internship and/or related consulting experience Preferred.
COMPENSATION
The pay range for our interns is $18-$30/hour
