job summary:
In this role you will support the purchasing team by sourcing and quoting materials, coordinating with vendors, maintaining accurate data in Epicor and SpecBot, and ensuring timely, compliant transitions from RFQ to PO for project readiness.
Contract Role with possible conversion to full time employee!
Required to have a minimum of 1 year of experience with purchasing, sourcing, or FF&E procurement (furniture/manufacturing preferred). Working experience with Epicor and Excel! Understanding of upholstery, finishes, and hardware specifications.

responsibilities:
- Support Buyers and the Purchasing Manager with material sourcing, quoting, and confirmation within required timelines.
- Gather and compare supplier quote
- Track pricing, lead times, and vendor data in SpecBot; flag missing or incomplete information per SOP.
- Coordinate with suppliers to collect technical sheets, certifications, and memos
- Assist with new vendor setup in Epicor and maintain up-to-date vendor contact lists and price libraries.
- Enter and verify material details in Epicor to ensure accuracy with project quote lines.
- Cross-check SpecBot outputs and confirm all data meets QA standards prior to PO release.
- Ensure all RFQ-to-PO transitions meet SOP timelines and materials are production-ready.
- Provide sourcing updates to Estimating and Project Management teams.
- Prepare weekly sourcing reports and support QA audits for compliance
- Maintain purchasing logs, supplier records, and sourcing documentation.
