Job Description The Radiologic Intervention Technologist II is an intermediate level Technologist that performs Radiologic Interventional studies that may range in complexity depending on clinical area, but are generally routine to more complex relative to a specific patient population and may assist physicians in performing procedures. May transport medications from the delivery area to an authorized imaging area. Ensures that the room is functioning properly, stocked and prepared for various procedures. Exercises cultural competency in providing patient education. Responsible for maintaining a safe environment and identifying and reporting any safety concerns. Qualifications Education High School Diploma/GED – minimum Assoc. Degree/College Diploma Graduate of JRCERT accredited radiological program. – minimum Bachelor’s Degree Graduate of JRCERT accredited radiological program – preferred Experience 3 years Experience performing a variety of Radiologic Interventional scans and/or procedures in a busy clinical environment. – minimum Licenses and Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) – Upon Hire minimum Imaging Registered Rad Tech – Upon Hire minimum American Registry of Radiologic Technologist – R.T. (R) (ARRT) – Radiography Imaging CA Radiologic Tech – Upon Hire minimum California Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist with Fluoroscopy
