A Clinical Nurse II (CN II) is a competent clinician who provides nursing care in a skilled and effective manner in an ambulatory setting. A CNII Independently prioritizes & delivers dependable and effective patient care in a variety of patient situations using appropriate decision-making skills. A CNII exhibits competence in the technical, interpersonal and cognitive skills required to independently and safely manage routine patient assignment. Nursing care is delivered using standards of care by following approved policies and procedures. Qualifications Job qualifications Education Assoc. Degree/College Diploma Nursing required Bachelor’s Degree Science in Nursing (state-accredited program) preferred Work Experience 1 year relevant ambulatory or acute care experience in the area of specialty required Licenses & Certifications RN State License California State RN License required American Heart Association or American Red Cross only Basic Life Support (BLS) Require BCLS certification required
