Position Title: Schedule: Part-Time (20-27 hours a week) Timeline: 6 Months Location: Los Angeles Study title: Social Networks Engage (SNEngage): A longitudinal examination of factors predicting the social networks and mental health services of individuals with serious mental illnesses. Duties: ? Collecting Quantitative survey data ? Conduct social network, social cognition and life history interviews ? Enter data into various platforms including RedCap, excel, and box ? Attend regular check-in and team meetings ? Perform other research related activities as required ? Bachelors in social work, psychology, public health, and/or other allied social/behavioral science ? 1-2 years experience working on quantitative research studies, including experience working with large datasets and entering data in RedCap/Quantrics ? 1-2 years experience with collecting quantitative survey data ? Interest in working with individuals with serious mental illnesses ? Excellent data collection, data entry and data management skills ? High level of attention to detail, flexibility, ability to work on a team ? Commitment to social equity and services to marginalized and vulnerable populations Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills ? Proficiency in Spanish ? Masters in social work or related field preferred This position is classified under the professional research staff category at NYU and does not qualify for visa sponsorship including STEM OPT extension.
