The Division of Hematology is seeking a Research Coordinator I to join its team under the Supervision of a PI. The Research Coordinator I will help collect, process and store clinical samples from the leukemia patients diagnosed at USC Norris Cancer Center and LAGMC hospitals. The Research Coordinator position entails assistance with the overall conduct of clinical trials for investigational devices and drugs.Overall, the successful candidate will have experience working in a clinical trials research environment, have excellent organizational skills, work well as a member of a small lab, be able to work independently, and have the ability to interact well with study participant. Candidate will work with the PI, department, sponsor, and institution to provide assistance on compliance, financial, administrative, and clinical aspects of all studies. Duties include but are not limited to providing general administrative support, s, preparation and submission of regulatory documents, completion of data collection forms, adverse event reporting, study closure, and all tasks related to the operational conduct of research.
