Summary of Role: 

The Sales Producer has responsibility for cultivating cross sales with existing client opportunities; growing organic revenue with medium to high complex clients; and developing/implementing marketing strategies to grow the book of business in Santa Ana and Simi Valley. They will manage sales results, and expand strong relationships with current Clients, Commercial P&C Producers, and outside new business opportunities. They will work directly with the appointed client Sr. Account Managers with our existing clients; and manage the servicing of their new clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assertively identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities within existing Santa Ana Client book of business.
  • Develop targeted sales programs for specific lines of coverage in tandem with our Personal Risk Carriers
  • Exchange views with Sales leaders and Team Members on setting targets and reporting actual results
  • Join the Sales team meetings strategizing changes and troubleshooting problems
  • Be confident and knowledgeable on industry Personal Risk Carrier products and Services
  • Posses’ knowledge of the PCG Private Client Industry and is willing to strive in learning and developing themselves within PCG
  • Develop and initiates plans to increase new business sales with existing centers of influence and/or referral resources
  • Will provide coaching to all Team Members on industry sales trends, competitive markets, underwriting current concerns
  • Work in tandem with our Account Managers to build sales strategies surrounding existing client base
  • Develop a strong relationship with our Commercial P&C Producers

      • Strong sales skills interfacing with clients in various ways confidently

      • Diligent follow up skills
      • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building abilities
      • Multi-task in fast paced work environment
      • Strong Personal Risk Carrier Product, Underwriting, and Website technology knowledge
      • Excellent ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications
      • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
      • Knowledge of EPIC Agency Management system a plus

      Education and/or Experience:

      • BA/BS
      • More than 3+ years of directly related sales/service industry experience.

      Certificates, Licenses, Registration:

      • Insurance Broker’s license required representing the coverages being sold. P&C broker’s license

The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
