As a Security Officer Hotel Foot Patrol in Anaheim, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming atmosphere, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. In this customer-focused role, you will conduct routine patrols, communicate clearly with guests and staff, and represent a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and driven by integrity.

Position Type: Full Time / Graveyard shift

Pay Rate: $18.67 / Hour

Day Time Mon 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM Tue 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM Fri 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM Sat 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM Sun 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM
What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through proper channels when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, hallways, amenity areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify and report unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and common areas to help support authorized entry, observe visitor activity, and document security-related incidents, disturbances, and/or policy violations.
  • Assist with de-escalation, directions, and general support during high-traffic periods, special events, and/or guest service interactions within a hotel or resort location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
