As a Security Officer Unarmed Graveyard Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $26.79 / Hour

Job Schedule:
Day Time Mon 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM Thur 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM Fri 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM Sat 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM Sun 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM
What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly documenting and reporting security-related observations and activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and direct individuals in accordance with site policies.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs; communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
