Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Day Time Fri 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM Sat 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM
What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor activity across the property and assist with access control, crowd management, and/or visitor interactions during peak shopping periods, special events, and closing procedures.
• Support daily operations by observing for policy violations, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or property concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
