As a Security Patrol Officer for Outdoor Mall in Manhattan Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail location where you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. In this role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, professionalism, and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universal’s caring culture, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.

Day Time Mon 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM Tue 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM Wed 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM Thur 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM
What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and tenant activity, and assist with crowd management during peak shopping periods, special events, and/or store opening and closing times.
• Communicate with site contacts, local responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, incidents, and daily activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
