Payment terms will be $500.00 paid to active employee upon completion of 3 months of employment, second payment of $500.00 will be paid to active employee upon completion of 6 months of employment and the remaining $1000.00 will be paid to active employee that has completed 12 months of employment. UC Title: MED CTR CUSTODIAN SR Position Number: 41005801 Reports to: Environmental Services Manager Working Title: Senior Custodian, MC Cost Center: Environmental Services (428460) Bargaining Unit: AFSCME FLSA: Nonexempt Alt Overtime Date Created: 6/29/2023 Job Code: 005086 Hours: 20 Shift: Multiple Shifts Available FTE: 0.5 Position Summary: Reporting to the EVS Manager, the Custodian performs skilled and semi-skilled cleaning, housekeeping and/or general maintenance duties in acute and non-acute in-patient, out-patient and non-patient areas. Exercises care and caution in the use of supplies and equipment while performing custodial tasks. Performs resilient tile and carpet care maintenance tasks (stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction/shampooing). Other various related housekeeping duties may be performed as assigned. Salary Range: Hourly Rate Minimum $19.88 Midpoint $23.04 Maximum $26.20 Required Qualifications: Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Ability to work in various locations, as well as rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
