Commercial Real Estate/Asset Management company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior HR Generalist/HR Manager who is bilingual in Japanese to join an amazing team. Salary range: 100 – 120K

Overall Description: This role will be responsible for managing various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and more with a specific focus on supporting Japanese-speaking employees and bridging cultural and communication gaps.

RECRUITMENT:
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Conduct interviews and assessments, ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience.
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training programs.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS:
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.

COMPLIANCE and POLICY
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Develop, update and enforce HR policies and procedures.
Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements

HR STRATEGY and PLANNING
Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
Provide HR insights and data-driven recommendations to senior management

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Human Resources, Business Administration; or equivalent
combination of education and experience in a related field required.

  • A minimum of seven years of experience in the corporate level of Human Resource Management and/or related experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and an ethical mindset.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Familiarity and experience with Federal and multiple state labor laws.
  • People-oriented and result-driven skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
