Senior Ultrasound Technologist – CAC-Imaging – FT/Day Updated: Jan 30, 2024 Location: Irvine Job Type: Department: CAC – Imaging UC Title: ULTRASOUND TCHNO SR Position Number: 41056363 Reports to: Radiology Services Supv 2 Working Title: Senior Ultrasound Technologist Cost Center: CAC – Imaging (427166) Bargaining Unit: AFSCME FLSA: Nonexempt Date Created: 1/07/2024 Job Code: 008966 Hours: 40 Shift: Full-Time/Days FTE: 1 Position Summary: Incumbent performs the full range of basic diagnostic Ultrasound procedures and the more complex specialized procedures. Will prepare and position patients, adjust equipment to best demonstrate area of interest, operate various stationary and portable equipment and imaging systems. Assists in the training of Technologist Students as assigned. Salary Range: Hourly Rate Minimum $47.40 Midpoint $54.98 Maximum $62.56 Required Qualifications: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Must possess A.R.D.M.S. certification Must have three years experience in diagnostic ultrasound May be assigned to work in ambulatory clinics Experience with Pediatric ultrasound to include neonatal heads Competent with the following exams: NICU, Vascular surgery, Breast imaging, dialysis access, arterial upper and lower extremity, carotid Doppler studies, and TIPPS.
