About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team in Pasadena, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service during tax season.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare individual and small business tax returns accurately and efficiently.
Review financial records, income statements, and other documentation to ensure compliance.
Advise clients on tax planning strategies and deductions.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
Respond to client inquiries and resolve tax-related issues promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of tax preparation experience.
Certifications: PTIN required; EA or CPA license preferred.
Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., Drake, ProSeries, or similar).
Strong understanding of federal and California state tax codes.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines during peak season.
