Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position in Applied Mathematics 2024-2025 University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF08878 The Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Los Angeles, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in applied mathematics. A competitive candidate should have a transformative research program and show excellence in teaching. Applicants from all fields of applied mathematics will be considered, but we give preference to candidates whose research area has a connection to any of the existing research groups at UCLA or candidates that could take a leadership role in our evolving programs in Financial/Actuarial Mathematics or in Data Theory. Applicants from all fields of applied mathematics will be considered. Candidates must have a Ph.D (or equivalent degree) in hand by June 2024.
