MILITARY VETERANS

As a Territory Manager, you will report to the Regional Manager, lead PPG Industries Automotive Refinish sales in Southern California, and follow the corporate values while delivering the necessary business targets defined under the PPG Refinish business plan. You will deliver specific sales and service provision targets following Regional, Zone, and National targets.

Responsibilities

  • Help ensure that PPG meets EH&S regulations by adhering to guidelines and procedures of safe work practices and educating customers on the safe use of all PPG products.
  • Attend field trials with the Business Development Manager and demonstrate the correct application of relevant product.
  • Sales Performance: improve the financial performance of region 5 Southern California by developing short- and medium-term business strategies consistent with the regional business plan.
  • Increase Market Share: Develop our business opportunities for the Region.
  • To maintain a comprehensive technical and practical knowledge of application techniques and equipment relevant to the total PPG refinish and competitor product ranges.
  • Collection of samples and information from customer to allow problem analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for new products, improved technical support, and better value delivery at the customer and help develop these opportunities together with the regional Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent work experience with 5+ years proven track record in growing sales with validated skills at consultative selling.
  • Prior Automotive Refinish or equivalent experience.
